WARNINGS FOR THE USER
- Do not open or tamper with the unit: high volt-
age inside.
- Be careful not to knock or bang the unit as this
might break the picture tube resulting in flying glass.
- Always use the services of skilled personnel to
remedy faults, make changes or service the
installation's units (power supplier etc.).
Function of jumper SW1 (Call attenuated)
1
Normally supplied ready inserted. Remove the jum-
per SW1 (fig. 6) in the event the volume of the call
note is to be attenuated, or if you have a number of
receivers activated by the same call.
Maximum number of receivers activated by same
call:
- 3 with normal call (jumper SW1 inserted);
- 2 with normal call and 6 with attenuated call (jumper
SW1 not inserted).
Personal door-bell
The unit is fitted with a differentiated call input for
5
calls from the occupant's door, producing a contin-
uous note lasting 2 s.
Entry panel selection in installations with a
number of entry panels
To use this function, turn on the monitor by pressing
the button entry panel connection. Next, press the
same button again to select the entry panels.
NOTE. If a call is made from the entry panel during
selection, the process is aborted.
If said call is being made to the user making the
selection, the monitor features the image from the
entry panel the call is made from.
If the call is made to a different user, the image on
the monitor disappears.
Resistive load termination
The unit features a jumper SW3 (fig. 6) for the
impedance terminating the signal line.
SW3
Remove the jumper if the line continues towards
other receivers.

Installation instructions
WARNING. It is recommended to install the monitor
in a dry place.
Slide the locking latch as shown in figure 2. Slide
the steel frame out, and fix it on the wall at a suita-

Please, pay attention to place the frame with the
indication TOP in upper position, and make the
hole, figure 3, to coincide with the cable junction
box.
Unscrew the two screws, figure 4, and take the left
part of the housing out.
Pass the cables through the slot at the bottom of the
housing, place the monitor on the steel frame and
fix it by sliding it downwards, figure 5.
To avoid undesired falls of the monitor caused by
accidental shocks, lock it by sliding the latch to the
right.
Proceed the opposite way to unmount the monitor.
Make all the connections and fix the cover of the
left part of the housing with the two screws.
NOTE. Connect wires to terminals in accordance to
VM/300.
WARNING. In installations with XA/300LR we
recommend you gather up the ID (SN) codes,
applied on the outside of the housing, and enter
them in the tables that come with the XA/300LR,
MPP/300LR and IPC/300LR.
