Roof antenna D-network BMW 3 Series saloon (E46/4)
Intended for use in BMW dealership organisation only.
Installation time approx. 1.5 hours which can vary
depending on the condition and equipment of the
vehicle. Knowledge of the body electrical system is
required.

Particular care must be taken during installation
in the vehicle to ensure that cables and wires are not
kinked or damaged.
Vehicles can be driven through a carwash system
without having to dismantle the roof antenna.
Ensure the roof headlining is not bent or kinked during
removal. Assistance of second person is advisable.
Deburr drilled holes and treat with anticorrosion paint
in accordance with BMW standard.
Subject to technical modifications.

1. Vehicle Preparation
–
Remove left-hand boot trim panel
–
Remove rear bench seat and rear backrest, on
vehicles with split rear backrest, remove left side
section of rear backrest
–
Remove C-pillar trim panels
–
Remove covers for raised brake light
–
Remove raised brake light
–
Remove rear grab handles
–
Carefully release roof headlining from rear
retaining strip
–
Lightly pull down headlining (remove sound
deadner mat if fitted)
