OIL CHANGE

Drain the used oil while the engine is hot.
The hot oil drains quickly and completely.
1.
Turn the engine switch and vent the lever
to the OFF position to reduce the possibil-
ity of fuel leakage
2.
Loosen the screw on the cover and remove
the maintenance cover
3.
Place a suitable container next to the en-
gine to receive the used oil.
4.
Remove the filler cap / dipstick, and drain
the oil into the container by tilting the mo-
tor towards the oil filler neck.
5.
With the engine in a level position, fill to
the upper limit of the oil filler neck with
the recommended oil.
6.
Reinstall the filler cap / dipstick securely.
7.
Reinstall the maintenance cover and
tighten the cover screw firmly.
WARNING: The use of gasoline or flammable
solvent to clean the air filter can cause a fire or
an explosion. Use only soap and water or non-
flammable solvent.

Loosen the screw on the cover and remove
the maintenance cover
2.
Loosen the screw on the air filter cover and
remove the air filter cover.
3.
Wash the main and external filter in a so-
lution of household detergent and warm
water, then rinse thoroughly or wash in
non-flammable or high-flash point solvent.
Allow the air filters to dry completely.
4.
Soak the main and external filter in clean
engine oil and squeeze out the excess oil.
The engine will produce smoke during ini-
tial startup if too much oil remains in the
air filters.
5.
Reinstall the air filters.
6.
Make sure that the rubber gasket is in the
groove of the air filter cover.
7.
Reinstall the air filter cover, and tighten
the screw on the air filter cover.

Reinstall the maintenance cover, and tight-
en the cover screw firmly.
SPARKLE MAINTENANCE
In order to service the spark plug, you will need
a spark plug wrench (commercially available).
To ensure the proper functioning of the engine,
the spark plug must have the correct light and
free of deposits. If the engine has been running,
allow it to cool before servicing the spark plug.
1.
Remove the spark plug maintenance cover.
2.
Remove the spark plug cap.
3.
Clean the dirt around the spark plug base.
4.
Use a spark plug wrench to remove the
spark plug.
5.
Visually inspect the spark plug. Replace it if
the electrodes are worn or if the insulator
is cracked, chipped, or dirty.
6.
Measure the distance between the spark
plug electrodes with a gauge of wire type
thickness. Correct the distance, if neces-
sary, bending the side electrode carefully.
7.
Check that the sealing washer is in good
condition, and screw the spark plug by
hand to avoid over-threading.
8.
After the spark plug on your seat, tighten
with a spark plug wrench to compress the
washer.
9.
Reinstall the spark plug cap on the spark
plug.
10. Reinstall the spark plug maintenance cover.
