Place your fingers behind the cable bracket, as shown,
and pull toward you (5a). Place leg assembly with (4) holes
facing inboard, into opening in center of plate (5b). With leg
assembly at an angle (5c), tap it in place with a mallet and
line up rearward mounting holes (opposite the control levers).
Insert shoulder screw (5d) and tap all the way in with mallet.
Secure nut (5e) to shoulder screw and torque screw to 150±5 in-lbs.
NOTE: When securing nut, be
careful not to put pressure on
the control lever cable end.
Too much pressure could
cause cable connector to break.
