If the battery in your hat is no longer fully-functional
(reduced heating times; battery fails to recharge),
you will need to replace it.
To replace the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the battery cable (1.3) from the hat
(1.4).
2. Remove the battery and replace it with a new
one. Dispose of the old battery properly.
3. Connect the battery cable with the hat.
Caution!
Never try to open a battery pack yourself! Improper
handling of the Li-Ion batteries can lead to an
explosion! The electronics of the Therm-ic Heated
Beanie can also be damaged!

The Therm-ic Heated Beanie has four operating
modes: POWER-OFF – LEVEL 1, 2 and 3. These
are clear to see on the heat level indicator display
(1.1) – the number of LED's corresponds to the
selected level.
The Therm-ic Heated Beanie has a control pad
with two control buttons (1.2) to set the heat level.
These can be used to choose between 3 different
heat levels. The Therm-ic Heated Beanie is
switched off when none of the LEDs on the heat
level display is lit up.
Turning on:
Briefly press the control button "+"
or "-" (approx. 1 sec.) to turn the
Therm-ic Heated Beanie on at the
lowest heat level.
Turning off:
Press and hold down (3 secs.) the
control button "-" (until the heat
level display turns off) to turn off
the Therm-ic Heated Beanie.
