Introduction

Fermax KIT VISION 199 is an advanced professional Video Door Entry
system. Neither call wires nor coax are required to install. It makes possible to
exchange a conventional audio door entry system (4+N) for a video system
using previous installation wiring.
The Kit includes an Outdoor panel (built-in speech synthesizer) and a
directory panel* (and its own mounting boxes), a simple frame*, a power
supply, one electric door-lock and a video distributor. See note 1.
It only works with ADS and Vision 5 Monitors and Telephones.
Battery CONNECTORS VISION 5 Ref. 6078 must be used in every installation
if no taking care of the following wire sections advice:
* Note 1: not avaliable in all VISION 199 kits.
It is recommended to connect all the call wires to 'increase wire cross
section' and use them to connect the '-' wire.

Previous notes to installation:

Straight sun light and rain may
cause life reduction.

Considerations about wires:

Video wires must have the same section and lenght along the whole installation.
It is recommended to use parallel wires to video signal transmission. It is not allowed
to use coax wire anywhere in installation.
When upgrading previous installation it is also required to ensure that wires
used for video transfer are not unshielded and make no contact with any metal stuff.
Video distributors may be used for branches. Only Vision 5 video distributors
Ref. 2482 can be used (video distributors Ref. 2448/2449 NEVER can be used).
