LEVELING THE EQUIPMENT
Install equipment on a stable and level floor. It is
extremely important that the levelers are correctly
adjusted for proper operation. Turn leveling foot
clockwise to lower and counter-clockwise to raise unit.
Adjust each side as needed until the equipment is
level. An unbalanced unit may cause belt misalignment
or other issues. Use of a level is recommended.

Our equipment is heavy, use care and additional help if necessary when moving. Failure to follow these instructions could result in injury.
LOCATION OF THE UNIT
Ensure that there is a clear zone behind the treadmill that is at least the width of the treadmill and at least 2 meters (at
least 79") long. This clear zone is important to reduce the risk of serious injury were a user to fall off the back edge of

the treadmill. This zone must be clear of any obstruction and provide the user a clear exit path from the machine.

For ease of access, there should be an accessible space on both sides of the treadmill of at least 24" (0.6 meters) to allow a
user access to the treadmill from either side. Do not place the treadmill in any area that will block any vent or air openings.
Locate the equipment away from direct sunlight. The intense UV light can cause discoloration on the plastics. Locate the
equipment in an area with cool temperatures and low humidity. The treadmill should not be located outdoors, near water,
or in any environment that is not temperature and humidity controlled (such as in a garage, covered patio, etc.).
SERVICE CASTER
The Performance Plus (optional Performance) has built-in caster wheels located near the end caps. To unlock
caster wheels, use the provided 10mm Allen wrench (located in the cable wrap holder under the front cover). If you
need extra clearance when moving the treadmill, the rear levelers must be raised all the way up into the frame.
IMPORTANT:
Once the treadmill is moved into position, use the Allen wrench to rotate the caster bolt
into the locked position to prevent the treadmill from moving during use.
