PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

A rectifier is a device that allows charging variety of batteries. A rectifier converts a current and voltage in power network to such
that allows charging the battery safely. Thanks to charging it is easier to provide correct battery operation, which significantly
extends the battery service time. A rectifier is protected against short-circuit and battery over-charge. Correct, reliable and safe
operation of the product depends on proper operation, therefore:
Before starting the work with this tool, please read this manual and keep it properly.
The supplier does not assume any liability for damages resulting from failure to follow safety regulations and recommendations
specified in this manual.
Indicators mounted in the device's housing are not meters within the meaning of "Measurement Act".

GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
A device must not be operated by children below 8 years of age and by persons with limited physical, sensor and mental capacity
or persons with no experience and knowledge, if they do not stay under supervision or have not been instructed how to use it
safely and about the existing risk.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children unattended.
A rectifier is designed for charging only lead-acid batteries. Charging of other types of batteries may lead to electric shock, danger-
ous for health and life.
It is forbidden to charge batteries not designed for re-charging!
When charging, the battery must be placed in well ventilated place, it is recommended to charge a battery in room temperature.
A rectifier is designed for indoor use and it is forbidden to expose it to humidity, including atmospheric precipitations.
Rectifiers with I insulation class must be connected to sockets fitted with protective cord.
In the case of charging batteries embedded in car's electric system. First, connect the rectifier's terminal to battery's terminal
which is not connected to car frame, and then connect the second rectifier's terminal to car frame away from battery and fuel
system. Then connect the certifier's plug to power supply.
After charging is completed, disconnect rectifier's plug from mains and then disconnect rectifier's terminals.
Never leave the rectifier connected to mains. Always pull out the plug of power cord from the mains socket.
It is required to adhere to rectifier and battery polarity indicators.
Prior to charging the battery, always read and follow charging instruction provided by the battery manufacturer.
Always place the battery and the rectifier on a level, flat and hardened surface. Do not tilt the battery.
Prior to connecting the power cord plug to rectifier, make sure that mains parameters correspond with parameters indicated on
rectifier's data plate.
A rectifier should be placed as far from the battery as cords with clamps allow it. Do not overtight cords. Do not place the rectifier
on the top of battery charged or directly above it. Vapours produced during battery charge may cause corrosion of components
inside the rectifier which may results in its damage.
Do not make fire or approach the battery with fire.
Never touch rectifier's terminals when it is connected to mains.
Never start the engine when charging battery.
Prior each use, please check the condition of the rectifier, including power cord and charging cords. If any faults are found, do not
use the rectifier. Damaged cables and cords must be replaced with new ones in specialist workshop.
Prior to maintenance of the rectifier please make sure, that the power cord plug was disconnected from the mains socket.
A rectifier should be stored in a place inaccessible for third parties, including children. Also during the work please note, that the
rectifier is out of reach of unauthorised persons, particularly children.
