Time limit of the power levels
The maximum cooking time of all cooking zones is preset at the factory according to the
power level. When the maximum use time has elapsed, the cooking zone switches off
automatically to prevent the appliance from overheating. The table shows the maximum
service life per power level:

Hot cooking zone warning
• When the cooking zone is in heating mode, press and hold the POWER button for
3 seconds to switch off the appliance and stop the heating of all cooking zones. The
indicator light for the previously heated cooking zone flashes to indicate that the
residual temperature in the relevant cooking zone is high.
• The indicator lights of the previously heated cooking zones remain on for 35
minutes after the appliance is switched off.
Protective functions
• Protection against high temperatures: The electronic temperature sensor on the
control panel transmits the real-time temperature to the chip of the control panel.
If the electronic temperature sensor measures a temperature higher than a certain
value, the protection is activated and reduces the heating power of the cooking
zone. After the temperature has dropped, the heating power is increased again.
• Residual heat protection: When the entire appliance stops heating, the indicator
light of the respective cooking zone flashes, indicating that the temperature of the
cooking surface is still high. To avoid burns, do not touch the cooking zones during
operation.
