2 - REPLACING THE GAS CONTAINERS
a) Changing the 60 L non-refillable oxygen bottle
- If the welding torch flame cannot be adjusted and remains yellow on lighting.
- If the flame turns yellow during use:
This indicates that the oxygen bottle is empty and needs replacing.
Close the valves on the oxygen bottle and the CAMPINGAZ® cartridge.
Close the two welding torch valves.
Unscrew the regulator clockwise.
Take a full oxygen bottle.
Install the regulator on the new bottle as shown in paragraph 1.
b) Changing the CV 470 PLUS butane cartridge
To check whether there is still gas in the cartridge, close all the valves and lightly
shake the valve/cartridge assembly.
If you can hear liquid sloshing, your cartridge is not entirely empty.
Having read the paragraph "Important" on page 6 of this instruction manual care-
fully
1) Close the valve by turning the wheel clockwise (Fig. B - p. 41).
2) Unscrew the holding clamp until its end stop without forcing (direction OFF).
3) Pull the CV 470 PLUS cartridge to disengage the three holding clamp teeth. To
install a new CV 470 PLUS cartridge, follow the steps in paragraph 1C on the
CV 470 PLUS gas valve (p. 40).
