3.2 Safety instructions

Please read and comply with the following safety instructions!
Requirements for users
Children and persons with insufficient knowledge or experience in handling the unit, or
who have limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, may not set/program the unit.
DANGER
Damage to health caused by electric shock
Contact with electricity can lead to an electric shock.
> Do NOT use the product if it is not working properly or the cables are damaged.
Disconnect the power supply immediately. Contact help@duravit.com.
> Always disconnect the mains voltage BEFORE removing the plate.
> Remove the battery module from the plate BEFORE you replace the battery.
NOTE
Product damage and/or property damage caused by improper use
Improper use can cause damage to the product, accidents and malfunctions.
> Do NOT install the product in rooms where there is a danger of frost. The room tem-
perature should not drop below 4 °C.
> Do NOT use accessories that are not recommended by Duravit.
Product and/or property damage caused by non-professional repair attempts
Non-professional repair attempts can cause damage to the product, accidents and
malfunctions.
> Do not make ANY changes, tamper with, add installations or make repair attempts
in the event of damage or defects.
