Connecting to YUV Component Inputs

Description
This function must be On if the corresponding SCART input is to be
automatically selected from SCART1 or SCART2 when a device is
switched on.
● SCART: if a switching voltage from an external device is present at
Pin 16, then the LCD TV automatically switches over to the
adjacent RGB signal. Otherwise a CVBS signal is received.
● Always: an RGB signal only is received
● Unused: a CVBS signal only is received
● Always: YC signal received
● Unused: CVBS signal received
Select the signal (level) for format recognition. You have two choices:
● switching voltage
evaluation of the signal at Pin 8 of the SCART sockets
● Software
identification of letterbox films by means of the black bands top
and bottom
Menu option16: 9 Format is not enabled unless the switching voltage has
been set under the Format recognitionmenu option.
● Letterbox: the picture is stretched horizontally and vertically to a
full screen
● Anamorphic: picture is stretched only horizontally to a full screen.
You can connect external devices such as DVD
players or DVD recorders with a YUV output to
the YUV port.
Use the YUV / CVBS (L/R) inputs for the audio
signal.
