Setup instructions
The twin DVB transmodulator is set via the controller of base unit UFG 308 or UFG 312 or via the controller of extension unit
UFG 313.
Required controller software version: at least version V 8.60
For setup, connect the controller to the module. The buttons specifi ed below apply to the controller (also see instructions for
base units UFG 308 and UFG 312).
Note:
The settings and numerical values shown below are intended as an example and do not necessarily match the delivery status.
Select the required parameter using the "←" and "→" buttons.
The selected parameter fl ashes in the display.
Use the "+" and "-" buttons to make the setting.
Select or exit a sub-menu using the "sub-menu" key.
Finally, press "M" to save the setting in the module.
If the controller is disconnected from the module without saving, the settings that were originally saved in the module are
re-activated.
Note:
An asterisk (*) fl ashes at top right during channel unit initialisation.

Case 1: Asterisk on the left next to "TP"

Indicates "required operating mode not yet reached", displayed permanently in case of error.
If the indicator "*" fl ashes constantly or at recurring intervals, the channel unit cannot reach its proper operating
condition.
This may occur for the following reasons (among others):
•
Incorrect input frequency setting
•
No input signal
•
Input data rate greater than output data rate.
In this case, increase output symbol rate and, if necessary, QAM stage
