WINDOW CUTTER INTRODUCTION: The E. H. Wachs Window Cutter has been designed to effectively cut windows in pipes from 6" thru 42" O.D. up to 1-1/4" wall thickness. It will perform either slitting or beveling operations. MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS: 250 LBS. - Página 9 WINDOW CUTTER I. WHEEL INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: 1. Refer to the wheel positioning and chain length chart ( Fig. 1 ) to determine wheel location chain length and proper spacer width for pipe size. 2. Secure wheel assembly to end plate utilizing one 3/8-16 x 1-1/2" socket head cap screws ( # 90-070-15 ) per block.

WINDOW CUTTER 2. Rotate head until the cutting blade can be in- stalled, then tighten the center nut to lock the head in place. 3. Remove the nut and outer collar from the cutter shaft. Slide the blade onto the shaft, being sure align the key slot in the blade with the keyway in the in the shaft. - Página 12 WINDOW CUTTER VI. AXIAL OR RADIAL CUTTING PROCEDURES: 1. Under power, verify blade rotation direction. 2. Once proper blade rotation has been assured, lock all four locking screws and lower the blade by rotating the feed nut counter clockwise. Utilize the provided 1-3/8" open ended wrench.
