VI. AXIAL OR RADIAL CUTTING
PROCEDURES:
1. Under power, verify blade rotation direction.
2. Once proper blade rotation has been assured, lock all four
locking screws and lower the blade by rotating the feed nut
counter clockwise. Utilize the provided 1-3/8" open ended
wrench.
3. As soon as contact is made with the pipe surface, stop
feeding.
4. Set depth stop ( Fig. 9). Lower depth stop so that it is the
same distance above the feed nut as the distance from the
O.D. to the I.D. of the pipe being cut. Lock the depth stop
in place using the provided hex key set. (Detail A fig. 9)
5. With the depth stop set, begin to feed the blade down into
the pipe.

6. Adjust locking screws. To make axial cuts, radial
locking screws should be locked. To make radial
cuts, the axial locking screws should be locked.
7. To feed axially, refer to the decal on the axial feed
screw cover. ( Fig. 10 )
