Disposal/environment

Dispose the appliance in an environmen-
tally compatible manner.
Do not throw machines into your domestic
waste.
Carefully drain the fuel tank and hand
in the appliance at a recycling centre.
All plastic and metal parts can be sep-
arated by type to be reused/recycled
later.
Do not pour used oil or remaining
fuel down the sewers or the drain.
Dispose used oil and remaining fuel
in an environmentally compatible
manner - hand them in to a collection
point.
Contact your Grizzly Tools retailer for
details.
Throw twigs and branches on the
compost. Do not throw them into the
normal household waste.

Warranty

This appliance has a 24-month guar-
antee.
This equipment is not suitable for
commercial use. Commercial use will
invalidate the guarantee.
Damages caused by natural wear and
tear, overload or improper operation
are excluded from the warranty. Some
of the components are subject to nor-
mal wear and are excluded from the
warranty. These specifically include:
blade bar, eccentric, air filter, fuel filter
and spark plug.
Compensation under this warranty
requires that the cleaning and main-
tenance instructions have been duly
observed.
Damages caused by material defects
or bad manufacture will be compen-
sated by a free replacement or repair,
to our discretion.
Claim for such damages by returning
the non-dismantled unit together with
its receipt slip and warranty card to
your dealer.

Repair Service

Contact our Service Centre for repairs
not subject to this warranty. Repairs
can be made at normal charges. Our
Service Centre will send you a cost
estimate upon request.
We will handle units in proper packag-
ing and returned postage paid only.
Attention: To file a complaint or ser-
vice request at our service address,
please make sure that the unit is
clean and that a description of the de-
fect is included.
Postage not paid - as bulk goods,
express or other special delivery - re-
turned units will not be accepted oth-
erwise.
Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.
