Working using the grass shears
•
Grass is best cut when it is dry and
not too high.
Working using the shrub shears
•
Move the device in a steady forward
motion, or up and down in an arch-sha-
ped motion.
•
The double-sided blade bar enables
trimming in both directions, or via pen-
dulum movements from one side to the
other.
Using the device with
spray attachment
The tank can be filled with water
or water-soluble plant protection
agents.
Please take notice of the safety
information and instructions pro-
vided by the manufacturer of the
plant protection agent. Wear the
personal protective equipment re-
commended by the manufacturer.
Fill the tank before you attach the
spray attachment (13) onto the
device head (1).
Avoid operating the spray
attachment (13) while empty..
1. Open the tank cover (17) and fill the
spray attachment (13).
2. Close the tank cover (17).
3. Attach the spray attachment to the
device head (1). (See "Attaching/repla-
cing accessories")
4. You can regulate the spray attachment
by turning the nozzle (18).

Checking the level indicator:
Hold the spray attachment mounted
to the device head vertically. This
will allow you to read the markings
(MAX, 2/3 , 1/3 und MIN) and see the
fill level.
Cleaning/Maintenance
Leave any work not covered in
this manual to our Service Centre.
Only use original parts. There is a
risk of injury!
Remove the battery before all
maintenance work. There is a risk
of injury.
Never use cleaning agents or sol-
vents, which can cause irreparable
damage to the unit. Chemicals can
attack the plastic components on
the unit.
Wear gloves when handling the
blades (

Clean and service the unit regularly as
follows. This guarantees a long life for your
unit:

Check the covers and guards for dam-
age and correct position. If necessary,
replace.
•
Never operate the machine with defec-
tive guards or covers or without protec-
tion or with damaged or worn cables.
•
Keep the ventilation slits, motor housing
and handles on the equipment clean.
To do this, use a damp cloth or brush.

Always keep the blade clean.
