Establishing a connection via WLAN router

Prerequisite:
• The range of the WLAN connection between the router and FM-Master WLAN can span a distance of up to
80 m provided there is unobstructed signal transmission and no sources of interference.
• The WLAN standard 802.11b is set on the WLAN router. The FM-Master WLAN only supports this standard.
The connection can be established in three different ways:
• Connection via WPS by pressing a button
• Connection using the Oase FM-Master app via WPS (→ Establishing a connection to the WLAN router via
WPS)
• Manual connection using the Oase FM-Master app (→ Manually establishing a connection to the WLAN
router)
Connection via WPS by pressing a button
A secure connection is established with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) by pressing a button on the WLAN-
Router and on the FM-Master WLAN.
• It is not necessary to enter the SSID and password.
• The WLAN router must support WPS.

Description
The FM-Master WLAN is switched off.
FM-Master WLAN is operational or connected to the smartphone/tablet via access point mode.
WPS is activated, FM-Master WLAN is waiting for the router access data.
FM-Master WLAN is connected to the smartphone/tablet via the router.
The FM-Master WLAN is starting up.
The FM-Master WLAN is in firmware update mode.
FM-Master WLAN is searching for a connection to the router.
Malfunction
Remedy:
• Disconnect from the power supply. Wait for 10 seconds then reconnect.
• Reset the FM-Master WLAN to the factory default settings (→ Restoring the factory default
settings)
• Carry out a firmware update (→ Updating the firmware)
How to proceed::
1. Open Google Play or App Store.
2. Search for the "Oase FM-Master" app and install.
– Follow the instructions during installation.
3. Confirm the query "access to internal data of the unit".
– If access is permitted, individual product photos for identification of the sockets
can be created.
– The query appears during installation (Android) or when executing the app
((iOS).
The app appears on the display after successful installation.
