Activate parental lock
• You can lock the buttons to prevent the unit from being accidentally switched on (by
children, for example).
• When parental control has been activated, all buttons except the On/Off button
and the Stop&Go function button are disabled.
• To activate the parental lock, press the
screen.
Deactivating the parental lock
• To cancel the key lock, make sure that the unit is switched on.
• Hold down the key with the key symbol.
• You can now use all keys again.
Note: When parental control has been activated, all buttons except the On/Off
button and the Stop&Go function button are disabled. This means that the device
can always be switched off in an emergency. However, the parental control must be
deactivated before the next use,

Overheating protection

The device has an internal overheating protection. As soon as the unit detects
overheating, it switches off automatically.
Small object detection
If cookware of unsuitable size or induction-unsuitable cookware (e.g. aluminium) is
used or other small objects (e.g. knives, forks, keys) are left on the appliance, it will
automatically switch to standby mode after one minute. The appliance's fan continues to
run for one minute.
