4. Unscrew the spark plug using a spark plug
spanner.
5. Fill a teaspoon of 2-stroke oil into the com-
bustion chamber.
6. Pull the starter cord slowly several times to
distribute the oil inside the engine.
7. Screw the spark plug back in.
8. Cleaning the appliance:

Clean the complete appliance and the
accessories using a soft brush or wipe
with a cleaning rag. Do not use petrol or
other solvents!
■
Do not clean the appliance with running
water or high-pressure cleaners.
■
Remove dirt from all appliance openings.
Keep the ventilation slots of the engine
cooling system clear.
■
Keep the handles free from oil and
grease. Water, solvents and polishes
must not be used.
9. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
10 PUTTING BACK INTO OPERATION
Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use
and – if present – attach all covers. Store the ap-
pliance in a dry, lockable place out of the reach of
children.
1. Remove the spark plug.
2. Pull the starter cord smartly in order to re-
move residual oil from the combustion cham-
ber.
3. Clean the spark plug, check the electrode
gap and renew the spark plug if necessary.
4. Prepare the machine for use.
5. Fill the tank with the correct fuel/oil mixture.

Petrol and motor oil do not belong in
household waste or the public sewer
system, but should be collected and
disposed of separately.
■
Before disposing of the device you must
empty the fuel tank and the engine oil tank!
■
Packaging, equipment and accessories are
made from recyclable materials, and must be
disposed of accordingly.
