DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT
GENERAL INFORMATION
All Topal Hooks are to be used per pair, with a 2-legs chain, textile or wire rope sling.
Each leg is connected on hooks with a shackle.
The choice of slings and accessories is the guarantee of security and good functioning of the hooks. Particularly
ensure that sling (leg length and WLL) and accessories (shackles) respect:

Recommended sling angle : 90°
▪
Sling WLL > hooks WLL (considering sling angle).

Handling hook for lifting horizontal pipes or tubes.
Hook with wide opening and deep slot, rounded bearing part to prevent marking products.
TB hooks can be delivered with coating protection (on bearing part & vertical contact surface).

Provide a 2-legged sling grade 80, fitted with a shackle on each leg end to connect the hooks. Be careful, the
inner width of the shackle must also be able to fit the thickness H of the hook
