ternal parent unit menu. This function
is available both when the appliance
is in Baby Monitor and when it is in
Gallery mode. When reminders are
set and active, the display shows the
relative icons.
For setting and activation details, see
paragraphs 3.2.6 and 4.2.5. After the
activation of each reminder, a count-
down starts until a warning beep is
heard relative to the reminder expiry.
The beep is also accompanied on the
display by a flashing relative reminder
icon. The beep will last 10 seconds
followed by a 5 minute pause, during
which the icon will continue to flash
on the display. This cycle will con-
tinue until the reminder is deactivated
pressing the display (4) at any point.
Moving around and hanging up the
parent unit
To transport the parent unit or hang it
on the wall, remove the base (19) by
gently pulling it outward (FIG. 9).
CAUTION: after removal, keep the
base (19) out of the reach of children.
CAUTION: hang the parent unit at a
height that is out of reach of children.
CAUTION: do not leave the parent
unit unattended when hanging.
CAUTION: when hanging, it is advisa-
ble to power the parent unit using the
lithium-ion batteries only (13), so that
the mains adapter cable (1) does not
remain suspended and pose a danger
to the child.
CAUTION: do not leave the parent
unit hanging while the lithium-ion
batteries (13) are charging.
3. Managing menus on the parent unit
in Baby Monitor mode:
