The lens of high-quality, unbreakable PXM
material is protected with a cera-tec
coating. Scratch-resistance is an important
aspect of the quality and useful life of the lens.

Safety Instructions

X Danger of glare and injury!
Never look directly into the sun or
other bright light sources using optical
devices! Never look directly into the light
source.
X Danger of fire! Lenses in optical devices
can cause significant damage by focus-
ing light to generate heat if handled
or stored improperly. Be careful never
to leave optical lenses lying in direct
sunlight!
X Protect your magnifying light from im-
pacts, moisture and excess heat. Never
lay your magnifying light on a radiator
or in direct sunlight.
X The clamping screws r must be
screwed in tight during use of the mag-
nifying light!
X Never use the magnifying light near to
containers filled with water!
X Risk of tripping! Make certain that the
power cord does not pose a danger.
Do not wind the power cord around the
magnifying light.

1. Screw the table clamp o to a table
surface with the clamping cylinder i.
2. Insert the pivot arm t into the hole u of
the table clamp o.
3. Plug the AC adapter y into a properly
connected power socket. When using the
device outside of the EU, please use the
country-specific adapter piece.
4. Open the protective lid w. If necessary,
you can also remove this entirely. The lid
can be snapped in or out of the pivot axis
at any position.
5. Turn the control knob e back past the
stiff point to switch on the magnifying
light. A slight warming of the outer light
ring during operation is normal. Under
unfavourable ambient conditions, the
warming of the device may increase. If
the temperature reaches 65°C, the output
is automatically reduced.
6. Turn the control knob e farther back to
increase the brightness. Turn it forward
to reduce the brightness.
7. Position the magnifying light at the
desired working height.
8. To switch off the device, turn the control knob
e all the way forward past the stiff point.
