2 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the tool.
• Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the tool when maintenance is to be
performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the tool. The safety devices should be activated as soon as
maintenance work has been completed.
• Before performing any maintenance procedures or adjustments to the tool, disconnect the air supply hose.
• All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorised Service Points.
• When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the tool can be started again only if duly authorized by the service
mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- the work has been completed;
- the tool runs in a trouble-free manner;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the tool.

3.1 Product identification

The details used to identify the tool are stamped on the nameplate.

3.2 Product description

The pneumatic hedge cutter tool is made for trimming any kind of ornamental hedges and bushes. The tool is also used for summer
vineyard pruning and orchard topping.
It is supplied with a standard 550 mm long, double-edged blade (2), an easy-gripping ergonomic handle (7), a pneumatic motor
with aluminium body (5) and a safety hand guard (3).
The handle is also provided with a lower trigger/hand guard (14) which prevents the trigger (13) from unaware working, too.
Moreover, an automatic safety catch (12), fitted in the trigger (13), is a further safety device. When the trigger (13) is released, it
locks it.
The hedge cutter can be assembled onto fixed and telescopic extension poles, reaching up to 5m of height without the need for
ladders.

If the hedge cutter is not used for the purposes and materials indicated above, it can get damaged or cause serious injury
to people.
