6 - MAINTENANCE
6.2.1 General
Before carrying out any maintenance:
•
Wear heavy-duty gloves.
•
Engage the safety catch (12).
•
Disconnect the air supply hose.
•
Clamp the tool into a vice.
6.2.2 The motor (5) jams
Pour few diesel drops or spray graphite into the quick air plug (10) in the handle. Make the tool idle for a while.
If the pneumatic motor (5) does not start running again, take the tool to an Authorised CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Service Point.
6.2.3 The gear box (6) jams
Remove the screw (15) and check the grease level. If it is low, add some to reach the original level.
If the problem is not solved, take the tool to an Authorized CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Service Point.
6.2.4 Air leakage from the air valve (8) in the main handle (7)
Check the weariness of the seals in the air valve.
Disassemble the air valve (8) and replace the seals, even if only slightly worn or damaged.

All maintenance operations not included in this manual can only be carried out by an Authorised CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l.
Service Point.

- STORING
NOTE
Follow the maintenance instructions described above.
7.1 End of the work
7.1.1 Cleaning the cutting blade (2)
Carefully clean the cutting blade (2) from working residues. Put few drops of oil onto the blade and make the tool idle for few
seconds. This operation will keep it clean and prevent from rust.
7.1.2 Cleaning the pneumatic motor (5)
Put few drops of diesel fuel or graphite oil into the air connection (10) in the main handle. Make the tool idle for few seconds. This
operation will keep the pneumatic motor (5) inner components clean.
8
- DISMANTLING THE TOOL AND DISPOSING OF THE PARTS
8.1 General
At the end of its working life, the tool must be dismantled.
The parts are to be divided up in order to dispose of them according to the material they are made of (metal, plastic, etc.) in
compliance with the regulations in force in the country where the tool is used.
