Even during a charge / discharge process it is possible to optimise the parameters using
the 'SET' buttons. If you change a setting, the process continues to run with the new
values. You can check the values by calling up the individual working displays in turn
using the 'SELECT' button.

TERMINATING A CHARGE / DISCHARGE PROCESS
At the end of a charge / discharge process a brief audible signal sounds, and the screen
displays the message 'READY' briefly. This applies the termination is automatic or manual
(by operating the 'MODE' button, because (say) the battery is fully charged)

Once you have programmed all the settings on the
chip, the battery must be connected. The charge /
discharge process is initiated by selecting the
desired mode of operation using the 'MODE' but-
ton.
The selected process - e.g. 'CHARGING' - is dis-
played briefly on the screen, then this display
'flows' to the right and out of the screen, to be
replaced by the last activated working display. The
flashing status symbol indicates the current pro-
