Cleaning the permanent filter and Microsan
filter in the dust container
The filters must be cleaned (wash out the filter sys-
tem):
After any malfunctions, i.e. after a blockage is
cleared.
At the very latest, when the red filter status indica-
tor is lit permanently.
A short-term remedy is to tap out the filter (see
Figure 28). However, the filter system must be
washed out after vacuuming is complete in order to
guarantee the function of the dust container.
27
Figure
To continue vacuuming during the filter cleaning
operation, alternate between using the exchange
filter that is included and the original filter.
28
Figure
Press in the locking tab on the rear side of the con-
tainer and remove the Microsan filter from the con-
tainer.
Remove the permanent filter from the bottom plate
of the container.
29
Figure
Wash the Microsan and permanent filters. The filters
must then be left to dry for at least 24 hours.
After cleaning, insert the permanent filter into the
bottom plate of the container.
Put the Microsan filter onto the container and fix it
in place by pushing in the direction of the arrow.
You will hear the tab snap into place.
