NOTE: Sometimes the transmitted service
does not identify the audio language
correctly (for instance, it sends '---'
instead of an audio identifier such as
'eng'), so the receiver cannot iden-
tify the selected language. Should
this happens, it is recommended to
use the mode for index to select the
audio.
In audio for index the user selects the audio
service from the list of available audios for
the present program:
If in the audio subcarrier menu you select 5.5
MHz and depending on the operation mode
that is selected, we will have the following
options:
- Audio for language: Stereo, Automatic
- Audio for index:
Stereo, Dual, Left,
Right, Automático
41
STEREO QPSK-PAL CI
- Audio for language:
AUDIO
Audio 1: fin
Audio 2: den
Stereo
In stereo mode, (L+R)/2 is modulated in 5,5
MHz and R in 5,74 MHz. The signal will
always be stereo.
AUDIO
Audio: 01/02
Audio mode:
Automatic
In automatic mode, both the signal and the
modulated signals depend on the indidation
obtained from the demodulated audio stre-
am.
If the stream indicates stereo, (L+R)/2 is
modulated in 5,5 MHz and R in 5,74 MHz and
the signal is stereo. However, if the stream
indication is dual, L is modulated in 5,5 MHz
and R in 5,74 MHz and the signal is dual.
