3.1 Procedure
1. Connect one or two sensors
2. Switch on the thermometer: select one or two measurement
resolutions, using selector switch
instantaneously displayed.
3. Set-up the thermometer according to the type of
measurement to be carried out, using buttons
(see § 2 and 3.2) .
4. Read off the measured value.
The thermometer is switched off by putting switch
the OFF position.
Note :
If no sensor is connected, OL Is displayed.
If the temperature to be measured is outside of the instrument's
measurement range, then OL is displayed.
3.2 Special Functions
HOLD : as soon as this button is pressed, the instrument holds
the last measurement displayed.
MAX: the instrument displays the maximum value of the
temperature during measurement
On the C.A 863 :
∆ ∆ ∆ ∆ ∆ T :
With two sensors the instrument simultaneously
measures temperatures T1 and T2 and displays the
difference ∆T between these two measurements.
