Air Filter

Keep the air filter clean!
1. Remove the top cover (22/2).
2. Carefully remove the air filter (22/1) and wash it in
clean, warm soapy water, Air dry completely and
then install it back.
Never wash the filer with petrol. Replace the
damaged filters.

Fuel filter

The fuel filter should be replaced after each 20 hours of
use.
In the fuel tank, there are two tubes:
1 short tube leading to primer (without the filter),
−
1 long tube leading to the carburettor (with the filter).

1. Remove the fuel tank cap together with the safety
lock.
2. Lift filter (23/2) out of the tank using the little hook
(23/1) carefully.
5.6 Sparking Plug Replacement
Defective and burnt-out sparking plugs must be replaced.
Use only original sparking plugs.
As an alternative you can use this type, as well:

1. Disconnect the connector of the sparking plug
(24/2).
2. Remove spark plug (24/1) by unscrewing of a pair of
pliers.
3. Check the gap of spar plug electrodes, which must
be (24/E). E=0,635 mm.
5.7 Muffler
The muffler is equipped with a special safety spark ar-
rester screen. The screen must be cleaned regularly.
Dirty safety spark arrester screen lowers the
performance of the engine.
Hot products of combustion may include sparks,
which, in case of damaged safety spark arrester
screen, may cause fire, e.g. dry grass burning.
Damaged safety spark arrester screen must be
replaced.
1. Remove the muffler cover (see picture 1).
2. Unscrew the muffler (25/1). Unscrew the three
screws (25/2) and remove the whole muffler.
3. Spread the muffler and clean the safety spark ar-
rester screen (25/3), if it is damaged, replace it.
The backward installation is carried out in the converse
order.
5.8 Carburettor
The carburettor was set for an optimal performance by
the producer.
Possible additional settings must be carried out by an
authorised service place.
The saw chain must not run when the engine is
idling.
