DESCRIPTION
The LinkMaster™ Pro powers on and begins testing automatically when a remote is attached to the far
end cable jack. If no remote is used, it can be powered on by pressing any of the four buttons. It
automatically powers off after a few seconds when the remote is disconnected. LinkMaster™ Pro
powers off automatically after 5 minutes of continuous testing of a single cable. Disconnecting the
cable restores the tester to normal function. Most power-on modes will timeout in 20 minutes. The
tone mode will power off after 2-1/2 hours. The LinkMaster™ Pro will turn on in the last mode used
before turning off.

Tester On Operating modes are:
Pretest - Pretest cable from one end for shorts, opens or
splits. With Remote, performs complete cable tester with ID.

Adjust capacitance/ft or m (CAL)
Tone - Apply tone to pin, pair or all pairs

Coax -Identify remote color and number. Tests for opens or
shorts.
