8. TROUBLESHOOTING - PROBLEMS WITH THE COMPUTER DISPLAY

"No function values are displayed. Only the pulse display is working". This could mean
there is transmission interference between the home trainer and the computer. Check to
see that all cables are properly connected to one another and that none of the cables is
damaged.
"The pulse display does not work anymore / always displays P". If all other computer
function values are being displayed, then the problem is either the hand sensor or the
cable connection between the sensor and the computer. Check to see that all cables are
properly connected to one another and that none of the cables is damaged.

Solution
Replace the computer batteries with new batteries.
- Check all cables leading to the computer.
- Remove and reinsert batteries after one minute.
Check the cable connection leading to the handlebar.
Moisten your palms a little and clasp the contacts with
equal force – measuring pulse data using the hand
contacts is less precise than measuring with a chest belt.
For precise measurements, use a pulse monitor watch.
