How does the IRT3W work?
The IRT3W is a no-touch design thermometer that measures a person's
temperature by capturing the infrared heat radiating from them and converting
it into a readable temperature.
Inside the thermometer there is an infrared temperature sensor which collects
infrared heat that is emitted naturally by either the eardrum or the skin surface.
The heat is then focused by a lens onto the thermopile and measurement
circuits, where it then gives you a reading in just seconds.
This innovative technology is safe to use and prevents the spreading of
harmful germs.
It is quick, easy to use and non-invasive which means you can even measure
a child while they are sleeping.
