Primary filter replacement

DANGER !
Check the filter class (L - M).
Take care not to raise dust when this operation is
carried out.
Wear a P3 mask and other protective clothing plus
protective gloves (DPI) suited to the hazardous
nature of the dust collected, refer to the laws in
force.
Before proceeding with these operations, turn off the
vacuum cleaner and remove the plug from the power
socket.
Primary filter replacement (fig. 16)
Disassembly
-
Release the closing hooks "A" and lean the deck
"B" on the vacuum cleaner.
-
Unscrew the knob "L" from the deck "B", then
remove the cable "M" and the deck.
-
Lift the filter "C", put a hand inside to reach the
split pin "D" and remove it so as to free the lever
"E" of the filter shaker from the ring "F".
-
Lift the filter "C", cut the clamps "G" and detach
the ring "F" from the filter.
-
Unscrew the clamp "H" and remove the ring "I".
-
Remove the filter "C" and close it hermetically in
a sealed plastic bag, then dispose of the filter in
accordance with the laws in force.
Assembly
-
Assemble the filter catch and the ring of the old
filter on to the new one.
-
Fit the ring "F" to the filter "C" using clamps "G"
supplied along with the filter.
-
Fit the filter into the filtering chamber, then install
the split pin "D" by fitting the ring "F" to the lever
"E" of the filter shaker.

Install the deck "B", insert the cable "M" and fit it
with the knob "L", then fix the deck using the two
closing hooks "A".

Absolute filter replacement (optional)

- Filter for dusts harmful to health: Class H.

nature of the dust collected, refer to the laws in
force.
Upstream absolute filter replacement (fig. 17)
Disassembly
-
Release the hooks "A" and lean the deck "B".
-
Unscrew the knob "L" from the deck "B", remove
the cable "M" and the deck, then unscrew the
knob of the filter "C".
-
Remove the filter "E" and put it in a sealed plastic
bag.
-
Close the sealed plastic bag hermetically and
dispose of the filter in accordance with the laws in
force.
Assembly
-
Assemble the absolute filter "E".
-
Assemble the central locking knob "C".
-
Install the deck "B", insert the cable "M" and fit it
with the knob "L".
-
Fix the deck using the closing hooks "A".

Motor cooling fan inspection and cleaning

Periodically clean the motor cooling fan (fig. 6) to
prevent the motor from overheating, especially if the
vacuum cleaner is used in a dusty place.
