3 | General information

3.1 | Reading and keeping the instructions for use

These instructions apply exclusively to the Louis edition
Scottoiler. They contain important information on installation,
handling, maintenance, safety and the warranty.
The Louis Special Edition Scottoiler is not designed for any
specific type of vehicle. It can be used successfully on many
different bike models with a chain drive. To do so, a vacuum
connection for operation of the oiler must be available for
use on the intake tract of the engine.
Read the instructions carefully, in particular the safety
instructions, before using the Scottoiler. Failure to adhere
to these instructions for use can lead to serious injury or
damage to the Scottoiler.
