Do not overload the tool. Work will be more effi cient and safer if the tool is used as intended.
Use the correct tool. Do not overload a small tool by using it for work intended for a high performance tool. Do not use tools other
than those intended, e.g. do not use metal cutting tools for cutting wooden elements.
Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery as it may be caught by the moving parts of the tool. It is
recommended to use protective footwear with an anti-slip sole. Long hair should be placed entirely under a cap or a beret-type
protective cap.
Wear personal protective equipment. Use safety glasses or goggles. Use dust masks during work which generates dust.
Connect the dust extraction. If the tool is equipped with a connector for dust extraction and collection, make sure that the above
are connected and used correctly.
Do not overload the power cord. Do not remove the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord. Do not place the power cord
near heat sources, oil or sharp edges.
Safe operation. Wherever possible, terminals or vices should be used to fi x the workpiece. This type of fi xing is safer than holding
the workpiece with your hand.
Do not reach too far. Maintain the right posture and balance at all times during work.
Ensure that the tool is properly maintained. Keep the cutting tools sharpened, this will ensure a more effi cient and safer work.
Observe the instructions for the installation of accessories and lubrication. Periodically check the condition of the power cord, if
any damage is detected, replace the power cord at an authorised service centre of the manufacturer before commencing work.
Periodically check the condition of extension cords and replace damaged extension cords with new ones.
Keep handles dry, clean and free of grease and oil.
Disconnecting the tool. If the tool is not in use, disconnect the tool from the power source before carrying out maintenance works
and changing accessories such as blades, drills or chisels.
Remove the wrenches used for adjustment. Make a habit of checking whether the wrenches used for adjustment have been
removed before starting the tool.
Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure the power switch is in the "off " position before connecting the tool to the power source.
Use of outdoor extension cords. If the tool is used outdoors, use extension cords intended for outdoor use to power the tool.
Remain cautious. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense and do not work when you are tired.
Checking for damaged parts. Before continuing to use the tool, carefully check it and make sure that it will work properly and
serve its intended functions.
Check the fi t of moving parts, jamming of moving parts, cracks in parts, assembly and other conditions which may aff ect the oper-

centre of the manufacturer, unless otherwise stated in the manual. Replace defective switches with those in good working order at
an authorised service centre of the manufacturer. Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off .

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Wear personal protective equipment during work. Hearing protection which reduces the risk of hearing loss. Eye protection. Upper
respiratory tract protection which reduces the risk of absorbing harmful dust.
Use a helmet and a protective apron.
Wear protective gloves only during preparatory activities related to the handling of the cutting disc, fi xing the workpiece and
transporting the tool. Do not use protective gloves when manually guiding the workpiece. The circular saw can catch gloves which
can lead to serious injuries.
The class I protection electrical device must always be connected through an electrical system equipped with a residual current
device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA.
Never use the machine without all the safety guards installed correctly.
Only discs recommended by the manufacturer should be used: discs for cutting wood and wood-based materials with teeth made
of carbide meeting the requirements of the EN 847-1 standard with the parameters specifi ed in the technical data table. Make sure
that the speed indicated on the disc is greater than or equal to the speed indicated on the tool.
Do not use damaged cutting discs. Before commencing any work, the cutting disc must be inspected and, in the event of cracks,
chips, bends, broken teeth or any other damage, the disc must be replaced with a new one. Hold the disc by the fi xing hole and
lightly hit the disc body with a plastic handle screwdriver. Hollow sound can mean a crack in the disc body, which may not be
visible to the naked eye.
Do not use discs made of high speed steel (HSS).
Cutting discs should be stored in dry, darkened rooms in packaging which protects the discs from dust and exposure to mechan-
ical damage. Protective gloves must be worn when transporting abrasive discs.
Use discs designed to cut the given material.
Pay attention to the correct direction of rotation of the disc. The direction of rotation marked on the disc must correspond to the
direction of rotation visible on the machine.
When replacing the disc, make sure that the cutting thickness of the disc (cut) is not less than the thickness of the disc body and
