Installation
Flash through the supply pipes.
Install box depending on the building application.
Watch the depth of installation (see sticker on the
installation box).
Large differences in pressure between the hot and
cold water supply should be balanced.
The hot water connection must always be LHS and the
cold water connection RHS. The mixed water outlets
in the top and bottom of the housing can be used
singly or jointly as required. For single connection
the outlet not in use must be properly sealed with
the screw plug.
Stop valve(s) must be provided to control the
fl ow of mixed water from the outlet(s).
After completion the whole installation must be
fl ashed. For this action the cold water and mixed
water pipes are connected in the fl ushing unit. The
hot water supply pipe is lfushed on the fl ushing unit,
the cold water and mixed water supply pipes on the
outlets. Afterwards check the pipes and connections
for leakage.
Important!
In the event of frost hazard and draining the pipes,
the fl ushing unit must be removed and the thermo-
static mixer body drained.

The water temperature at the hot water inlet should
be at least 2° C higher then the desired hot water
temperature.
The Hansgrohe ¾" thermostatic mixer can be used
in conjunction with hydraulic or thermostatically
controlled combination boilers providing there is a
minimum of 1,5 bar pressure and the combinaton
boiler prepare enough water for the downstream
consumption.
