FR56E TRIMMER

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE TRIMMER USE
1. WARNING! Carefully read the GENERAL
SAFETY INSTRUCTION LEAFLET enclosed
with the machine documents.
2. Supply voltage must be the same as that
indicated on the specifi cations plate.
3. Keep hands away from the cutting area. Hold
fi rmly the machine when working.
4. Use always Virutex original bits. Never use
malformed or broken bits.
5. Always use bits with the correct size of shank
for the chuck being used and adjust the velocity
of the tool.

3. STANDARD EQUIPMENT
Standard equipment includes:
· FR56E trimmer with 3 mm radius carbide bit,
for 8 mm collet.
· Wrench (11 mm) for motor shaft.
· Wrench (19 mm) for chuck collet nut.
4. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
OF THE FR56E TRIMMER
The use of this machine is for trimming edges
on PVC, melamine, wood, etc...
5. TYPES OF TRIMMING
The radius on the edge can be made with the
bit of the standard equipment (code 1140106),
obtaining a 3 mm radius. With the optional bit
(code 1140109) 6 mm radius can be made. For
any other kind of works Virutex has a complet
range of bits.
Place the trimming head base on the board or
edge surface. To adjust the distance of the bit
loosen the screw "A" on the trimming head, re-
gulate the screw "B" to move forward or back
the head. (Fig. 1).
6. CHANGING THE BIT
Disconnect the machine from the power supply
before changing the bit. Loosen the screw "A"
(Fig. 1) to take away the trimming head. To
change the bit (Fig. 2) block the motor shaft
with the wrench "C", loosen the nut with the
wrench "D" and take away the bit. Place the
new one in the collet and repeat same operation
in reverse order.
7. CHANGE OF THE TRIMMING
HEAD BASE
WARNING! Disconnect the machine from the
power supply before this operation.
The machine is delivered from factory with
the trimming head base d.20 for bits of 3 mm
radius. When working with a bit 6 mm radius
it will be necessary to change this base for
the one d.26. If a bit 8 mm radius is used
the standard base must be replaced for the
one d.30. Both extra bases are included as
standard equipment with the machine.
To change the trimming head base unscrew
the two screws G (Fig. 1), to take out the base

H (fi g. 1) and to mount the base according the
radius bit to be used.
