USE AND PRECAUTIONS:
The anchor post for IPN beams is a temporary, transportable anchorage point that complies with standard EN 795:2012 Type B and TS 16415:2013 Type
B. Strong and easy to transport, it was designed to be installed quickly in the top corner castings of as an "I" beam Type IPN, IPE, HEA. It is intended
for use with a temporary lifeline type FA 60 033 18, FA 60 007 00, etc. In all cases, the lifeline should not return more than 8 kN to the post. It must
be installed on a structure that can stand up to the pressure exerted by the anchorage point in the event of a fall: Resistance > 15kN. The forces in the
event of a fall must be directed horizontally (used with a horizontal lifeline) and downwards.
This anchor post has been designed to allow the anchorage point to be raised above the ground and the metal "I" beam on which it is installed. It
allows the user to walk on a beam with a lifeline installed at a fall factor of less than 2, the lifeline being almost at hip height, parallel and offset from
the beam to allow free walking on it.
The assembly thus formed (2 posts + lifeline) can be used with: a retractable fall arrester (EN 360) or an energy absorbing lanyard (EN 355).

Installation:
For this installation you need the following tools: Spanner 19 for M12 nut, spanner 24 for M16 nut and spanner.
1) Loosen the 2 central screws (5).
2) Loosen the flanges (3) with the set screws (4) so that the post can be positioned on the steel beam
3) After positioning the post, make an initial adjustment of the flanges (3).
4) Tighten the central screws (5) and then tighten the flanges (3) on the steel beam.
5) Ensure that there is no play in the direction of the forces.
6) To remove, loosen the central screws and flanges and remove the post.
The anchorage point is ready to be used. Just connect the lifeline to the anchor eye (1) using a connector (EN 362). While in use, please check regularly
that the connectors are properly closed and locked.
WARNING! NEVER connect two lifelines to one post.
This temporary anchor post is intended to be installed and uninstalled after each use; if it remains installed for a site (and several days), it is IMPERATIVE
before each use to check the correct tightening of the assemblies and in particular Steps 3 to 5.
Before use, check that the clearance available under the anchorage point is compatible with your fall arrest device, which must take into account: the
deflection of the lifeline installed on the post and the air draft of the user's fall arrest device.
It is recommended that installation of this anchorage point be supervised by a qualified individual.
Make sure that the work is done in such a way as to limit the pendulum effect, as well as the risk and the height of a fall. For safety reasons and before
each use, make sure that in the event of a fall there is no obstacle obstructing the normal deployment of the fall arrest system fixed to this anchorage
point.
User safety relies on the ongoing effectiveness of the equipment and full understanding of the safety instructions contained in this leaflet. The
readability of the product's markings must be checked regularly.
Be aware of the hazards that could reduce the performance of your equipment and, therefore, the safety of the user in the case of: exposure to
extreme temperatures (< -30°C or > +50°C); prolonged exposure to the elements (UV rays, humidity) or to chemical products; electrical constraints; the
fall protection system becoming twisted when in use; or sharp edges, friction, cuts, etc.
This equipment must only be used by trained, competent and healthy individuals or under the supervision of a trained and competent individual. A
third party is required for rescue operations. Warning! Certain medical conditions may affect user safety; if in doubt, consult your doctor.
Before each use, check: that the anchorage point has no traces of cracks, deformation, or corrosion. Pay special attention to the anchor eye located on
top of the post, as well as the locking system. Check that all connections (screws/nuts) are tight. The markings must remain legible.
If there is any doubt as to the condition of the device, or after a fall, the device must not be reused (marking it with the words "DO NOT USE" is
recommended) and it must be returned to the manufacturer or to a qualified person appointed by the manufacturer.
