INTRODUCTION
Thank you very much for your trust and the purchase of this modern battery
charger of the HFL series for the charging of 12V lead-acid batteries (acid,
GEL, AGM, lead calcium) and supply of the vehicle electrical system. This
microprocessor-controlled, primary-clocked, high-frequency charger is state-
of-the-art in charge technology. Please treat the device with care and care so
that it can serve you well for many years.
Please read this instruction manual carefully and follow the instructions before
putting the charger into operation.

INTENDED USE

The charger is used to charge:
- wet batteries: closed batteries with liquid electrolyte
- AGM batteries: sealed batteries (VRLA) with fixed electrolyte (fleece)
- Gel batteries: sealed batteries (VRLA) with fixed electrolyte (gel)
Any other or further use is considered improper use. The manufacturer is not liable
for any resulting damages. Part of the intended use also
- observing all instructions in the operating instructions
- Checking the mains and charging cables regularly
Non-rechargeable batteries and dry cells (primary elements) must never be
charged. Serious personal injury and property damage can be the result.
This device is not intended for use by children.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Keep these safety instructions.
• Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.
• When charging, the battery can develop oxyhydrogen gases. Therefore, it must be
ensured that no sparks can form in the immediate vicinity.
