even with the top of bracket to
avoid interference with pins.
b) Pull assembly down into bracket
so that tab seats inside notch.

Lift the threaded stem to access
mounting hole, insert screw and
secure to door.
Note: Sexbolts required for metal
door. Sexbolts highly
recommended for wood door, but
optional wood screws are included.
Place one end of the longer base, inside the slot at top
of exit device mechanism. Keeping base aligned with
the line drawn on door, mark centers of screw holes
and remove base.
Place one end of the shorter base, inside the slot at
bottom of exit device mechanism. Keeping base
aligned with the line drawn on door, mark the center of
the screw holes onto centerline door. Remove base.
Where marked along centerline, drill and tap for a 8-32
machine screw on metal door or for wood door, drill
1/8" (3mm) diameter screw holes 1/2" deep.
Mount each base onto door securing with screws.

screw holes with hole drilled and
secure with screws.
