rod. Tighten the set
screw to allow
connector to expand
inside the rod creating
a secure fit.

Release the push bar:

allowing bolts to reside within
the top and bottom strikes.

Test Operation

Test the exterior trim for
locking and unlocking.

Fasten the rod

with screw.

Repeat test a few time to
ensure smooth operation.
Make adjustment until
operation is correct.
Align the rod
connector into the
position in which it is
to be later installed.
With the rod
connector in aligned
position, mark a cut
line onto the top rod,
to eliminate any
excess area of rod
that extends beyond
the edge of the rod
connector. Cut off
excess portion of rod,
if any.
