h) The chimney should be one metre higher than the highest part of the house. If you need to increase
the draw, extend the length of the chimney.

Chimney covers must not affect chimney draw.

Clean the chimney at least once a year.

The joints of the pipes that form the chimney, in the case of metal pipes, must be sealed with refractory
putty.
i)
External metal chimneys must be built with special double insulated pipes for solid fuels.
