4. Safety

4.1

General safety warnings

Read this instruction manual care-
fully before operating the equip-
ment.
Use only original accessories distributed by
n
MAHLE
This equipment cannot be used by children
n
and people with reduced physical, sensory
or mental abilities or with a lack of experi-
ence and knowledge
Children must not play with the equipment.
n
Cleaning and maintenance under the re-
sponsibility of the user must not be carried
out by children
Contact of the equipment with water or liq-
n
uids is prohibited
During maintenance operations on the
n
equipment, no mechanical or electrical
parts must be modified
The equipment's connection to the power
n
supply must be carried out in accordance
with the national wiring regulations, and the
power cord for connection to the external
ground wire must be reliable
Do not use the equipment if the plug, the
n
power cord or the equipment are damaged
If not expressly required, do not use the
n
system with the vehicle in motion
Always place and use the equipment on a
n
dry, stable, level and horizontal surface
Always unplug the equipment after use and
n
before handling, cleaning or maintenance
During the vertical movement of the digi-
n
tal target, continuously check the moving
parts, in order to avoid crushing. Do not
apply traction to the power cord
Do not use the equipment in direct contact
n
with heat sources, open flames, sparks,
hot surfaces, and in contact with com-
pressed air, exhaust gases and fumes
Do not use the equipment in environments
n
with an explosive atmosphere
It is not allowed to lean on the Digital ADAS
n
2.0 structure to avoid overturning, damage
or injuries
When using laser rangefinders, operators
n
must follow the instructions for use of these
devices and strictly avoid directing the laser
beam towards people, animals or reflective
objects.
When calibrating radar systems, it is rec-
n
ommended not to stand between the vehi-
cle's radar device and the calibration panel.
Stay out of the vehicle's radar device oper-
ating range
While using the digital target, operators
