CONNECTIONS
From the AXTO-TY1 harness to the aftermarket radio, connect as indicated:
• Black wire to the ground wire.
• Yellow wire to the battery wire.
• Red wire to the accessory wire.
• Blue wire to the power antenna wire.
• Orange wire to the illumination wire. (if applicable)
• Black/White wire connect this to the ground wire if there is noise in the system.

INSTALLATION

With the key in the off position:
1. Connect the 16-pin harness with stripped leads, and the AXTO-TY1 harness into the
AXTO-TY1 interface.
2. Connect the AXTO-TY1 harness to the wiring harness in the vehicle.

PROGRAMMING

1. Turn the key (or push-to-start button) to the ignition position and wait until the radio
comes on. The factory amplifier should come on and you should hear sound at this point.
2. Test all functions of the installation for proper operation, before reassembling the dash.
Note: To ensure that balance and faders are centered, turn volume up 3/4 and shut off vehicle
DO NOT shut off the radio, prior to shutting off the vehicle.

AUDIO LEVEL ADJUSTMENT

1. With the vehicle and radio turned on, turn the volume up 3/4 of the way.
2. With a small flat-blade screwdriver, adjust the potentiometer clockwise to raise the audio
level; counter clockwise to lower the audio level.
3. Once at a desired level, audio adjustment is complete.
