Safety devices

Built-in safety device – Automatic switch-OFF: if not used for over 20 minutes and with the charge level over 20%,
the power supply is switched off.
With the charge level of the battery below 20%, the automatic switch-off occurs in 5 minutes.
Use the ON/OFF button (4) to restart the battery.
Built-in protection device: Protects the battery set avoiding that the voltage increases or decreases too much, consid-
ering the indicated thresholds.
4.1

Starting

Remove the components from the packaging.
Recharge the batteries (2) (see par. 5.3).
Fit the battery set (2) onto the backpack (3) by following the instructions in par. 4.2.
Plug the cable (1) taking care of the male/female connections.
4.2

Fitting the battery set onto the backpack

Remove the backpack (3) and the battery (2) from the packaging.
Insert the fixing supports (10) into the lower pocket of the backpack.
Insert the fixing belts of the backpack into the corresponding fixing slots on the top of the battery (9)
Fasten the fixing belts inside the backpack (3).
5.1

Starting the unit

Wear the backpack (3) and adjust the belt length by means of the buckle.
Adjust the braces buckle so that they cannot slip from the shoulders.
Turn the button ON (4).
Use the unit only for the purposes described in par. "Description of the Product". Any other use may cause
injuries.
The backpack (3) shall be positioned in such a way that the 90% of its weight is supported by the operator's
waist instead of by his back.
The braces shall be used to improve the weight balancing (10%).
5.2

Display

After quickly pressing the ON/OFF button (11) on the display (9), the charge level will be visible for about 5 seconds with
the following modes:
4 led bars – 80/100% charge level
3 led bars – 60/80% charge level
2 led bars – 40/60% charge level
1 led bar – 20/40% charge level
1 flashing led light – charge level is lower than 20%
All flashing LED lights with repetition each second = Error status.
If any undervoltage is detected, it persists even if the battery is switched off and then on again, until it reaches at least the
20% of its status of charge (SoC).
