5.3
"FAST RISE" error
An increased rise is
measured within a short
time. As the
concentration is not
updated during the measuring intervals (measurement and
reference), an additional safety function has been integrated.
If there is a sudden rise in the VOC concentration due to an
acute failure of a component, such as a break in the piston
rings of the compressor or a breakthrough in the Dräger-Tube,
the product issues an alarm before the respective measuring
interval has expired.
5.4
"CHECK" message
The functionality of the UV lamp is
checked. This process takes approx.
100 seconds and is triggered after
restarting the product, after the
"FLOW ERROR" error and cyclically every 7 days (operating
time of the UV lamp). During this time, a measurement is not
possible and breathing air must not be filled. No action is
required during this test. After the test has been completed, the
device automatically switches to measuring mode.

Maintenance
All work may only be carried out by Dräger or by Dräger
authorised technical personnel. Carry out the following
maintenance to ensure a reliable operation and correct
measured value display.
6.1
Maintenance intervals
The following maintenance intervals must be complied with for
the device components.
