The bar (2) can be mounted in any position, even if the Campagnola logo is upside down.
Make the chain (1) run at low speed for a few minutes before starting to cut, in order to allow the oil to reach all
parts of the chain (1) and bar (2). Make chain (1), bar (2) and pinion warm up completely. Make sure that the first
cuts are light and take care that there is always a large quantity of oil. Avoid any too strong pressure.
6.1.3
Cutting bar lubrication
The oil pouring on the chain (1) has been pre-set by the Manufacturer. The system is automatic and does not need
any adjustment. Always check the oil level in the reservoir (16) and add some if necessary.
6.1.4
Cleaning the cutting bar and the lubrication holes
Clean these parts very often, especially every time before using the tool.
•
Remove the chain (1) and clean the bar drive (2).
•
Clean the lubrication holes.
6.1.5
Chain sharpening
Put safety, anti-perforation gloves on.
Follow the Manufacturer's instruction for the chain sharpening and maintenance operations. To decrease the
height of the depth adjusting device could mean to increase the kickback risk.
