The laser handpiece 2058 is approved and
suitable only for use with the KEY Laser
1242.

A 3.2 Exit window
After the KEY Laser 1242 has been used
with handpiece 2058, the exit window " of
the handpiece should be cleaned, for exam-
ple with a moistened cotton wool bud or a
cleaning cloth.
If the laser power declines or the exit win-
dow becomes dull, the window should be
replaced.

Ensure that the KEY Laser 1242 is
switched off.
Remove the laser handpiece by rotating axi-
ally.
When replacing the exit window, it
should be ensured that no dirt particles
fall into the laser handpiece. They may stick
to the optical system and destroy it.
Using the tool # supplied, the exit window
" on the laser handpiece should be
unscrewed by turning counterclockwise.
