Do not switch on the power tool back, when it is still in processed material. Before cutting again,
cutting wheel should reach its full rotational speed. Otherwise the grinding wheel may catch material,
bounce out of work piece or cause kick back.
Support sheets and large objects before processing to minimise risk of kick back caused by
jammed wheel. Large objects can bend under own weight. Support work piece on both sides, at
cutting line and near edge.
Be careful when cutting holes in walls and operating in other areas with reduced visibility. Wheel
plunging into material may cause kick back after hitting gas lines, water pipes, electric wires and other
objects.
SPECIAL SAFETY DIRECTIONS FOR WORKING WITH WIRE BRUSHES
Remember that even during normal use brush loses pieces of wire. Do not overload wires by
excessive pressure. Flying pieces of wire can easily penetrate through thin clothes and/or skin.
Start the power tool before work so the brush can rotate at normal working speed for at least
one minute. Make sure that no one stands in front of the brush or in its plane of rotation. Pieces of
wire may get loose and project in phase of power tool acceleration.
Do not point rotating wire brush at yourself. When working with wire brushes small pieces of wire may
be projected with high energy and puncture skin.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Do not use flexible drive shaft when it is bended too much. Too tight bend may cause overheating of
flexible casing.
Disconnect the minigrinder from power supply network before starting any adjustments or replacement
of accessories. Doing otherwise may lead to unexpected body injury.
Never leave the minigrinder switched on without any supervision. Disconnect the power supply first.
You can put the minigrinder away only after the spindle stops rotating.
Do not touch the work tool (stone or tip) just after finishing operation. Those elements heat up very
much during operation.
CAUTION: This device is designed to operate indoors.
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and additional safety systems are used,
nevertheless there is always a small risk of injuries.
